Little Vines Cottages: Guest Indemnity & Liability

By making a reservation or entering the Little Vines Cottages property, guests acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Use of Property at Own Risk

Guests acknowledge that Little Vines Cottages is a private property with gardens, pathways, swimming pool areas, braai facilities, parking areas, and natural outdoor features. Use of all facilities and amenities is entirely at the guest’s own risk.

The owners and hosts of Little Vines Cottages shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, accident, or damage sustained by guests or their visitors while on the property.

2. Children on the Property

For safety reasons, children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times while on the property, including in the gardens, play areas, swimming pool area, driveway, and all communal spaces.

The owners accept no responsibility for accidents or injuries involving unsupervised children.

3. Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is used entirely at guests’ own risk. No lifeguard is on duty. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when using or near the pool.

4. Visitors

Guests may not invite additional visitors onto the property without prior approval from the host. Approved visitors remain the responsibility of the registered guest.

5. Personal Property

While reasonable care is taken to maintain a safe environment, Little Vines Cottages cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to guests’ personal belongings during their stay.

6. Vehicles & Parking

Secure parking is available on the property; however, vehicles and their contents remain parked entirely at the owner’s risk. The hosts are not liable for any loss or damage to vehicles or their contents.

7. Braai & Fire Use

Braai (barbecue) facilities and fireplaces must be used responsibly. Guests are responsible for ensuring fires are safely managed and extinguished. The hosts accept no liability for accidents or damage arising from misuse.

8. Damages to Property

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, cottages, furnishings, or facilities during their stay and may be charged for repairs or replacement.

9. Force Majeure

Little Vines Cottages shall not be held responsible for circumstances beyond its control including, but not limited to, power outages, municipal water interruptions, weather events, road closures, or other unforeseen events.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking, guests acknowledge that they have read and accepted these terms, the property’s house rules, and this indemnity.
