We had a wonderful stay. The property exceeded our expectations, the internet was fast and reliable. To be able to walk out the garden gate and straight onto the vineyard was a joy. We came away feeling totally relaxed. I would rate our stay as 5 star and we will probably try and book for next year.

Wonderful accommodation with all the functionalities and comforts, a beautiful garden with wonderful pool and then you can walk into the vineyards for a beautiful walk or delicious breakfast, brunch or dinner at Groot Constantia Wine Estate. We would love to come back!

Lucy and her family were very welcoming and communication was great. We spent every afternoon in the pool, loved the views from the terrace and the stroll through the vineyards to Groot Constantia! Thank you ☺️

Really enjoyed our stay. Great for kids – both the cottage and the property were set up really well with an adjacent bedroom in the cottage and lots of activities on the property. The pool was great and access to the vineyard a real bonus for restaurant access. Loved our stay.

We had a great time staying at Owl cottage. It was a very family friendly place to stay. The cottage had a travel cot, bath, well equipped kitchen & lots of space for kids to play which made traveling to Cape Town that much easier. Great location & lots of attractions to visit nearby. Easy access & great communication. We hope visit again soon!

Lucy and James are wonderful hosts. From arrival to departure, we had great and pleasant communication with them. They are a very warm and welcoming family who really think along with you and provide great recommendations on things to do and visit.
We absolutely loved the cottage, it was even better than in the pictures. The location is amazing and everything you could possibly need is provided. The kids had a fantastic time at the playground, especially on the trampoline! We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again next year.

Lucy’s place was absolutely stunning, the location was beautiful and so serene, the pool area was very inviting. The cottage had everything we needed and we felt immediately at home. The location was great, an easy walk to the restaurants at Groot Constantia and not too much further to reach Chardonnay Deli. We loved our stay and hope to be back one day!

The cottages are in a very quiet and attractive part of Cape Town with some great restaurants within a few minutes drive as are local shopping malls. They are well maintained as are the gardens which are shred with two other cottages.

What an amazing stay we had at Lucy’s place. The apartment is clean and spacious, with a great balcony and the garden is amazing. We received keys to the vineyards to walk around and go to restaurants nearby. Constantia is a great place to stay and explore either. I would def recommend!

We stayed at the property for three nights. The garden, with its pool and play facilities, is particularly beautiful. A special feature is certainly the direct access to the Groot Constantia winery. This made it possible to walk across the vineyard and to the restaurants. The condo is well equipped.

Hair dryer had a UK plug but luckily we had adapters having come from the UK!
5min drive from shops for supplies/groceries.
Short walk to Groot estate for restaurants and wine tasting.

We arrived late in the evening after a long journey, but thanks to the clear instructions, we were able to find and enter the cottage easily. It’s in a beautiful location, and our two little ones had a great time with the playground, the pool, the toys, and the many birds and squirrels. The gate to the vineyard is also very nice, so you can walk to Simons Restaurant for breakfast/dinner. A perfect location to explore Cape Town and the surrounding area, and if there was anything, you would get a response within two minutes.

We had a wonderful stay at Owl Cottage. The setting above the vineyards was beautiful, with lovely gardens, a superb pool, and very comfortable accommodation. Lucy and James took excellent care of us, always responding quickly to queries and providing helpful tips about the local area. We would highly recommend Owl Cottage and very much look forward to returning in the future.

We loved our stay in this cozy cottage. It was wonderful to wake up, walk out the back gate, wander through the vineyards, then come back for a dip in the pool. The location is perfect for visiting different areas of Cape Town. There is a convenient shopping village close by. We enjoyed having a cuppa on the porch and gazing at the stunning view. Thank you to Felicia and Leonard, the staff, who keep the cottage and grounds immaculate. Thank you Lucy for a stay that felt like a home away from home.

Excellent location especially with the connection to the winery. Lucy and James were very responsive and it clearly shows they take pride in keep their place in perfect condition to make you feel right at home. Rightly recommended!

A magical place on the earth!
Every room was so cosy and felt like a little bit of cottage luxury. So many things that made this 5 stars to us – The pool felt so private during our stay, we had a key to the vineyard entrance of the Groot Winery which was just incredible, and we fell in love with their little dog, Ida, who would visit for a cuddle everyday. The peacocks were also a beautiful surprise!

Fabulous cottage in beautiful gardens! Everything about the stay at Lucy’s was perfect. The layout and fixtures were top class, the pool is heated to 26 degrees and Groot Constantia Vineyard with its two restaurants just a five minute walk through the vines. Just perfect, and Lucy was a communicative friendly host. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Lucy for 6 nights and loved it very much. Beautiful and simple cottage, just next to the vineyard and in walking distance to restaurants. Lucy communicated well, and was most helpful. We hope to be able to return eventually, and certainly recommend the place to any traveller.

Beautiful Airbnb with private access to Groot Constantia vineyard. The place was very peaceful, true heaven on earth! Hosts were very responsive and friendly.

We had the most wonderful stay at Lucy’s place. They are the most welcoming hosts! The cottage is exactly as the pictures show it to be and has lots of extra touches to make you feel at home, super calm and peaceful. Amazing waking up to then mountain view and being able to wander straight onto Groot Constantia. Can’t wait to stay again!

One of the loveliest locations one could hope for. Surrounded by mountains and vineyards you can walk in it is both peaceful and beautiful. Our hosts were extremely helpful and considerate and made our stay a pleasure.
